In July 2002, seven Chinese overseas students from the University of California, Berkeley and some entrepreneurs from the Silicon Valley, jointly founded Berheley Technology Co., Ltd in Silicon Valley in the United States.

In June 2003, Berheley Technology Co., Ltd (Beijing) was started up in Beijing.

Developed in Tianjin

In April 2004, recommended by Ni Guangnan, the academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and invited by the Tianjin government, Berheley Technology Co., Ltd (Tianjin) was founded by attracting some venture capital from Tianjin Venture Development Corporation and Tianjin Haitai Group Holdings Ltd.
